It seems that most of the people who have had trouble with this gazebo erected them in the yard. This gazebo has to be constrcted on a wooden deck with perhaps some additional metal support harware added. It's very attractive (I have two) and works out just fine on my deck where it is surrounded by the deck's hand rails. The main supports are attached to the rails of my deck and bolted to the wooden floor. This makes it a lot more sturdy. These things will blow around the yard all day long. They can't be set up on grass as a stand-alone structure.

Like everyone else. My wife and I liked the stylings of this gazebo, and like everyone else had this gazebo anchored down and had 100 lbs. additional weight to help keep it anchored. Yes, and like everyone else I came home to find the gazebo wrapped over my fence and part of the gazebo had seperated and struck my neighbor's house; breaking a window. Needless to say I doubt this gazebo can hold up to any winds above 10 mph. looks great but won't last.

My husband and I fell in love with the color and looks of this product. We liked the price, the netting and the fact that it would provide shade on our new patio at our brand new house. After only one week, on a bright, sunny day, it blew- literally - three houses down. Several pieces completely snapped beyond repair. The canopy tore badly. Target offered us a replacement. We chose the same gazebo AGAIN and this time we would make sure it would not blow away. (Or so we thought). Now being pros at assembly of this product, we had it built in no time. After one week, on a bright, sunny day, with my parents and I enjoying the day, the whole thing lifted completely up and blew. It hit the side of our home and ripped off our outside light fixture. My father's elbow was badly injured as it went wipping across the yard. We had it staked down, anchored with huge 30 lb cement blocks (on all four corner supports)- Part A of the gazebo - and we even bought 50 pound bags of limestone that were on top of the cement blocks as well!!!!! This product definatley has a serious design flaw!! Please do NOT buy this product and risk serious injury. What a WASTE!!!!!

This gazebo seemed to be such a good deal. It is very nice looking and I like the netting. I was excited when I got this gazebo together, it looked so nice in my yard with my tiki torches until about the second day I had it up and it rained. It wasn't very windy that day, but the gazebo blew right over and some pieces were bent. We put it back up again and made it extra secure and again, this time on a beautiful sunny day with slight wind, it blew over. This time it knocked over everything in its track's. Not only did some pieces bend, but quite a few broke and the gazebo is no longer able to stand up. I called the company that makes the gazebo and they offered to replace the parts (atleast ten pieces) that need to be replaced, but at MY COST. I have only had this item for two weeks! This is my second gazebo. I had to throw the first one away after about six months of use because it got completely trashed after we had tropical storm wind gusts. I had no problems with the first one prior to that. I have several neighbors in the area with gazebos that were also bought from Target but are much better quality and they have had no problems. I plan to take it apart and put it in the garbage and just buy a new gazebo because if I buy the parts or weld them back together, it will only happen again. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM unless you know a welder or plan to concrete it into the ground!!

I only had the gazebo 3wks. We built a deck and secured the gazebo down w/ screws and anchors. We had a bad rain and wind storm.Needless to say the gazebo stayed in place but the metal broke in many different places. WASTE OF MONEY AND NO REFUND !!! I wouldn't even give it 1 star but the system would accept that. I would not recomend this product unless you set it up indoors!
